Avocado, orange, mandarin & lemon pack

Avocados, oranges, mandarins and lemons are superfoods bursting with benefits for your body. They're a source of Vitamin C and will help ward off the flu and colds. What's more, they have all the following properties:  

• In addition to Vitamin C, they're a source of Vitamins A, B and D and minerals such as potassium and magnesium.
• They help control cholesterol by lowering bad cholesterol and they improve cardiovascular function.
• They're good for your bones thanks to their high content of calcium and Vitamin D.
• They favour the absorption of iron in people with anaemia.
• They prevent kidney stones and urinary tract infections. 

• Box contents: 9 kg of sustainably grown fruit. 4kg of Bacon avocados, 2 kg of Clemenules mandarins, 2kg of Valencian oranges, and 2 kg of Verna lemons.
• Mandarin variety Clemenules: Thin, easy-to-peel skin. Native to Castellón.
• Avocado variety: Smooth skin / Bacon, soft texture, perfect for spreading or making guacamole.
• Orange variety Late: Medium size with a rounded shape. Mild, sweet, and balanced flavour.
• Lemon variety Verna: Thick, rough skin. Medium-large size with an elongated shape and almost seedless. Low acidity level.

• Gauge-free: each piece collected is unique in size and shape to the previous one. 
• Picked to order individually and by hand when they reach the optimal point of ripeness.
• Keeping the fruit in a cool place means that it'll last for up to two weeks. If you store them in the fridge, you'll naturally delay the ripening process, meaning that the fruit will keep for longer.
• No pesticides or chemicals and no ripening or storage chambers: straight from field to fork.
• Our avocados have been grown in transition to organic farming since 2020, complying with European organic farming regulations.

We grow our fruit on our farm, Peña Alta, located in Artana (Castellón, Spain) within the Sierra de Espadán Nature Park. The mountains shelter us from the chilly northerly winds, which is why we can grow our fruits in a sustainable and environmentally friendly way.

Our ancestors grew oranges in Peña Alta for more than three decades, but a few years ago we decided to take a chance with new tropical crops, becoming pioneers in the sustainable cultivation of tropical fruit in our area.

We work with the passion that our grandparents gave us, but we're new-generation farmers and very aware of climate change. We use sustainable cultivation methods and since 2020, our avocados have been in transition to organic. Our priority is taking care of your health, our environment and the planet.
