Peña Alta, our farm in the Sierra de Espadán (Artana, Castellón), was devastated by the La Vall d'Uixó wildfire and we have lost a large part of our avocado, mango and guava harvest. Years of work, care and effort, destroyed in just a few hours.

But we have not stood still. The very next day we were already back in the fields, repairing the irrigation system, saving what could still be saved and planning how to recover or replant every tree that had been lost.

What happened to our Peña Alta farm (Artana, Castellón)?

The La Vall d'Uixó wildfire, which started on 25 July 2026, devastated our Peña Alta farm in Artana (Castellón). We have lost a large part of this year's avocado, mango and guava harvest, and with it, many years of work and effort.

What exactly does "sponsoring a tree" mean?

It means reserving a harvest in advance —rough-skinned avocado, smooth-skinned avocado, mango or guava, depending on the one you choose— and, at the same time, becoming part of Peña Alta's recovery. You choose the tree, give it a name and decide the size of your harvest. You will receive your fruit at home when the season arrives, in 4 kg boxes that you decide when to receive. And you will be able to follow the evolution of the farm: the irrigation system, the replanting and every step forward in the recovery.

Will I receive fruit from Peña Alta, the farm affected by the fire?

You will receive fruit grown by Tropitop, with the same quality as always. Peña Alta is now in the recovery phase: it has areas that were not affected by the fire and are still producing, and the rest of your harvest can be completed with fruit from our other farms. What you will be able to follow closely is the farm's recovery process, with regular updates.

So, what is my money used for?

Your contribution goes directly towards rebuilding Peña Alta: caring for, recovering and replanting the trees that were lost —avocado, mango or guava—, replacing infrastructure damaged by the fire (such as the irrigation system) and compensating for the production and harvest that we will not be able to sell this year.

Is this a donation?

No. It is a real purchase: you pay for a fruit harvest that you will receive at home. The difference is that, right now, every sponsorship also represents another step towards Peña Alta's recovery, and you will be able to follow that process closely.

When will I receive my fruit and which variety is it?

It depends on the tree you choose: rough-skinned avocado (January-June), smooth-skinned avocado (October-December), mango (September-November) or guava (October-January). Once you have sponsored your tree, you can schedule the delivery of your 4 kg boxes from your private account area so that you receive them when your fruit is in season, whenever it suits you best.

How much can I sponsor?

You can choose between 8, 12, 16 or 20 kg of harvest, whichever tree you have sponsored. We will send your harvest in 4 kg boxes.

Are shipping costs included?

Yes, shipping costs are included in the cost of the sponsorship.
