The benefits of our pitahaya and mango pack
Our mangoes and Pitahaya are a source of nutrients and minerals that will provide your body with all the vitamins and energy needed in your day to day life. Among the benefits of pitahaya and mango, it stands out that:
- Rich in Vitamins B and C
- Source of fiber and minerals such as iron and calcium.
- Its consumption combats fluid retention and helps keep the body hydrated.
- They prevent anemia, mango and pitahaya favor the absorption of iron.
- They improve the digestive system, preventing constipation due to their high fiber content.
- Promote the formation of red blood cells and collagen, improving skin healing and preventing premature aging.
What should you know about this box?
- Box contents: 2 kg of pitahaya and 2 kg of mangos from sustainable and organic farming.
- Mango Osteen Variety: Thick, purple skin with orange, yellow or green areas. Sweet taste with a touch of acid.
- Variety: Pink American Beauty pitahaya (pink pulp) or Undatus pitahaya (white pulp). Depending on availability, we also offer yellow pitahaya. Its taste is mildly sweet, with a texture and interior reminiscent of kiwi.
- Size-free: each piece collected is unique and shape to the previous one.
- Collection on request when it reaches the optimum ripening point.
- The box contains approximately 10 to 14 pieces.
- Limited and seasonal harvest, grown in Castellón, Spain
- Without pesticides or chemicals and exempt from maturation or conservation chambers: direct from the field to your home.
- By keeping the fruit in a cool place you can make dragon fruit last up to 2 weeks, while mangoes can last up to three weeks. If you keep the fruit in the fridge, you will be able to naturally delay the ripening process, keeping the fruit longer.
- Our mangoes are climacteric fruits: we send them freshly harvested and still firm, and they continue to ripen at home until they reach their optimal point for consumption.
Where does our fruit come from?
We can say very proud that the fruit in our packs and mixes comes from our Peña Alta family farm, both our citrus and our tropical fruits are grown in the surroundings of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park. A place that provides us with the ideal geographical and climatic characteristics for cultivation. A natural protection against the cold north winds.
We have been growing oranges on our land for more than three decades, but a couple of years ago we decided to change our harvest and bet on a tropical crop as well. We were pioneers cultivating avocado in a sustainable way in our region.
Our cultivation is varied, depending on the time of year, you can find Pitahaya, Bacon Avocado, Valencian Oranges, Clementines, Grapefruit, Hass Avocado, Lamb Hass Avocado, Lemons and Osteen Mangoes.

Furthermore, our mangoes are organically grown, reflecting our commitment as a new generation of farmers. We are more aware of climate change and our responsibility as farmers. For this reason, we work consciously to continue improving and to become increasingly sustainable.
