Benefits of our guava and mango pack
Our mangos and guavas offer a wide range of beneficial properties for your body and health. Guava, in particular, stands out for its exceptional Vitamin C content, surpassing that of many citrus fruits, like oranges, making it a powerful ally for your immune system. The benefits of mango and guava include:
- Rich in Vitamins A, B6, and C: Guava strengthens your defenses against colds, while mango helps maintain radiant and healthy skin.
- A source of essential minerals like potassium, phosphorus, and calcium, which strengthen your bones and support the proper functioning of the nervous system.
- Vitamin B6 from guava is essential for improving eye health and enhancing concentration and memory.
- Hydration and digestive health: The high fiber content in both fruits helps maintain good digestion and proper hydration.
- Regular consumption helps prevent anemia, promotes red blood cell production, and supports cellular regeneration.
What should you know about this box?
- Box content: 2 kg of guava and 2 kg of sustainably grown mangos in transition to organic farming.
- Mango Osteen: Thick-skinned, with a characteristic purple color mixed with orange, yellow, or green hues. Its taste is sweet with a slightly tangy touch that makes it irresistible.
- Pera pink or white guava. Its flavour is characterised by its sweetness and intensity.
- No size standards: Each harvested piece is unique in size and shape compared to the previous one.
- Harvested on demand when it reaches its optimal ripeness point.
- The box contains approximately 5 mangoes and 15 guavas.
- Limited and seasonal harvest, grown in Castellón, Spain.
- Free from pesticides and chemicals, with no ripening or preservation chambers: directly from the field to your home.
- By storing the fruit in a cool place, guavas can last up to 2 weeks, while mangos can last up to three weeks. If you store the fruit in the fridge, you can naturally delay the ripening process, preserving the fruit longer.
- Our mangos are climacteric fruits, meaning they continue to ripen at your home after being harvested until they reach their optimal consumption point.
Where does our fruit come from?
We grow our fruits at our farm, Peña Alta, located in Artana (Castellón), in the natural surroundings of the Sierra de Espadán. The mountains provide us with natural protection from the cold northern winds, making our fields the perfect place for the sustainable cultivation of tropical fruits, such as guava and Osteen mango.
For more than three decades, we have cultivated citrus fruits on these lands, but we have reinvented ourselves by betting on new tropical crops. Today, we are pioneers in sustainable production and transitioning to organic farming of fruits like guava and mango, harvested piece by piece and grown without using pesticides.
