What should you know about this box?

Box content: 2 kg of smooth-skin avocados and 2 kg of organically grown mangos from Spain.
Bacon avocado variety: Thin and smooth skin, with an attractive light green colour. Its oval shape and vibrant yellow flesh, soft and creamy, make it a favourite to enjoy in salads or as a side dish. Its flavour, with nutty notes, makes it irresistible.
Osteen mango variety: Thick skin, purple with orange, yellow or green areas. Sweet flavour with a touch of acidity.
No calibres: each harvested piece is unique in size and shape.
Harvested to order when reaching the optimal point on the tree. The fruits will arrive freshly picked and still green at your home, as they are climacteric fruits that ripen after being harvested. They will take a few days to reach their optimal ripening point.
The box contains approximately 14 to 18 pieces.

No pesticides or chemicals and no ripening or storage chambers: straight from the field to your home.
By storing the fruit in a cool place, avocados can last up to 2 weeks and mangos up to three weeks. If you keep the fruit in the fridge, you will naturally delay the ripening process, preserving it for longer.
Our avocados and mangos are climacteric fruits; they continue ripening at home after harvest until their optimal point of consumption.

Where does our fruit come from?

Our Peña Alta farm is located in the surroundings of the Sierra de Espadán Natural Park, specifically in the municipality of Artana, Castellón. The characteristics of the region protect us from the cold north winds, creating a natural protection in the shape of a horseshoe around the farm, which in turn gives us fantastic views of the sea. Allowing us to grow our fruits in a sustainable and respectful way with the environment.

Although oranges have been grown on our farm for more than 30 years, a few years ago we decided to bet on new tropical crops, due to the difficulties we had in carrying out family production. In this way, we have become pioneers in the sustainable cultivation of avocados, mangoes and citrus fruits in our area.

As new generation farmers, we are more aware of climate change and caring for the environment, as well as our surroundings, which is why a few years ago we decided to change our farming method to organic.

Currently, our family farm is undergoing an exciting conversion process, and we continue to work consciously to continually improve and become more and more sustainable. So much so, that we collect all our fruits manually and on request, to preserve all the quality and freshness until it reaches you.
