Benefits of our orange blossom honey
Our artisan orange blossom honey stands out for its smooth flavour, delicate floral aroma and natural origin. Traditionally produced in Castellón, it is a particularly pleasant and versatile honey, perfect for those looking for a sweet, balanced flavour that is milder than other varieties of honey.
- 100% raw and unpasteurised honey: It is produced with the utmost respect for the original product, without subjecting it to intensive heat treatments that could alter its natural characteristics.
- Natural source of energy: Its naturally occurring sugars make it an ideal choice for breakfast, snacks or adding a touch of sweetness to different recipes.
- Smooth and floral flavour: The nectar, mainly collected from citrus blossoms, creates a delicate, aromatic honey with a very pleasant taste.

The origin of our orange blossom honey
At Tropitop, we are committed to local products made by producers who respect the environment and keep traditional craftsmanship alive. Our orange blossom honey comes from Mieles Melmi, a family business with several generations of beekeeping experience in Castellón, in the Valencian Community.
The Valencian Community is one of Spain's main citrus-growing regions. During spring, orange, mandarin and other citrus trees are covered with small white flowers known as orange blossom, highly valued for their distinctive fragrance.
During this flowering period, bees collect nectar from the citrus blossoms, producing a honey with a smooth, sweet and delicately floral flavour. Its aromatic profile is lighter than that of other honeys, making it a particularly pleasant and easy-to-pair variety.
Weather conditions and the intensity of flowering can vary from one season to another. For this reason, each harvest may show slight differences in colour, aroma, texture or intensity, something completely natural in artisan-produced honey.
The result is a honey with a distinctive Mediterranean identity, closely linked to our citrus-growing landscape and created for those who appreciate food with a known origin, traditionally produced and full of authentic flavour.
Artisans with passion: the secret behind an authentic flavour
Behind every jar of orange blossom honey is a process that begins during the citrus flowering season. The beehives are placed close to orange groves and other citrus-growing areas so that the bees can naturally take advantage of the abundant orange blossom.
For several weeks, the flowers release their characteristic fragrance and provide the bees with the nectar that will become an exceptionally delicate, aromatic and balanced honey.
Once harvested, the honey is handled using artisan methods to preserve as much of its original character as possible. The aim is to respect the product and maintain its natural aroma, texture and flavour.
Each batch reflects the conditions of the season, the intensity of the flowering and the environment in which the bees have worked. This is why slight differences in colour, density or aromatic intensity may occur between different harvests.
These variations are part of the natural character of artisan honey and give each harvest its own unique nuances.
